As an accomplished Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning and design of wastewater supply schemes. Reporting to the Discipline Team Lead, your responsibilities will include collaborating with project team members, meeting deadlines, analyzing data, and utilizing hydraulic modeling software such as SewerGEMS. Proficiency in tools like ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro and AutoCAD is essential, while experience with WaterGEMS, Infoworks, and Civil3D is advantageous. Key responsibilities of the role involve developing clean water models, conducting master planning for wastewater infrastructure in urban areas, evaluating options, estimating costs, and preparing presentations for client approval. You will also be responsible for overseeing project tasks, guiding designers, and ensuring technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate for the Senior Engineer-Wastewater position should possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree from a recognized university, with a preference for a Masters in environmental or Water Resource Engineering. A minimum of 6-10 years of experience in water/wastewater projects, including 8 years in hydraulic modeling using the SewerGEMS platform, is required. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate expertise in hydraulic analysis, capacity evaluation, and strategic planning for wastewater systems.
