Primary Purpose of Job: Contribute to the ongoing growth of Stantec ResourceNet Private India Ltd by providing technical expertise in specialist areas of wastewater network modelling. To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading edge programmes and projects. Support project managers/team leader by providing technical expertise to ensure that project outcomes in terms of profit, schedule, technical and quality standards, meet both the client and Stantec expectations. Key Accountabilities: Wastewater/stormwater hydraulic modelling Model build and verification Optioneering & Outline Design of hydraulic solutions Development Impact Assessment Preparation of technical reports / drawings, Working with GIS databases, Handling and managing large data sets for analysis Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor/management, Need to work off-hours for client co-ordination: Occasionally Need to travel off-shore for training/on-site work: Occasionally Person Specifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in civil/ Environmental Engineering Expert in hydraulic modelling, run-off models and hydraulics (gravity & pressure networks), Optioneering & Outline Design of hydraulic solutions Expert in hydraulic modelling software, InfoWorks CS, InfoWorks ICM. In addition to this candidate with experience in Mike Urban, TUFLOW, HECRAS 2D and SWMM will be preferred Have excellent data manipulation abilities (FME/POWERBI/MS Excel/MS Access database type packages) Good skills in GIS packages: Mapinfo, ArcGIS preferred Expert in Technical report writing skills Good level of client service management, i.e. able to interface with clients and to build and maintain lasting, positive relationships with our Clients Capable to analyse, assess, evaluate the issues, complexity pertaining to projects / work packages and support the team lead in mitigating them in advance Rigorous attention to detail, able to understand and adopt workflows and commitment to personal professional development Competent level of baseline skills, i.e. professional and confident with the essential, basic business and communication skills that are required for career growth in all positions Flexible attitude to accepting different work assignments and pro-active attitude to execution / delivery

A minimum of 6-10 years of experience in water/wastewater projects, including 8 years in hydraulic modeling using the SewerGEMS platform, is required. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate expertise in hydraulic analysis, capacity evaluation, and strategic planning for wastewater systems. Position: - Infrastructure Engineer (Wet Utilities) Department: - Water and Environment Experience: - 2 to 10 Years. Key Responsibilities: Perform design/analyses calculations related to wet utilities such as potable water, sewer, stormwater, highway drainage using governing engineering formulas, skills, and experience. General Arrangements, Layouts, plans & profiles. Research and prepare design options and documents. Prepares engineering computations, quantity takeoffs, specifications and designs Provides technical guidance to CAD Designers and junior Engineers working on the same project. A confident, positive individual, interacting with clients through meetings and presentations. Education and Professional Skills: Bachelor's in civil engineering and/or Masters in Water Resources Engineering/Environmental/Hydraulics Engineering discipline. 2-10 years of relevant work experience in of infrastructure engineering design particularly water, wastewater and storm drainage networks with progressively increasing responsibility. Previous modelling development experience using Sewer Gems, Water Gems, HEC-HMS, HEC RAS, InfoWorks ICM, WS Pro, Civil 3D, Navisworks, etc Experience working in a multi-disciplinary consultancy. Strong report writing skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports. Excellent presentation skills, written and verbal communication, initiative, motivation and a team player. Experience working internationally, especially Africa and the Middle East would be an advantage.
