Senior Video Editor

Job Description

We’re looking for a creative Video Editor with 2+ years of experience in editing storytelling-driven and humorous short-form content for social media. You should be someone who understands pacing, meme culture, and emotional hooks — and knows how to make people stop scrolling.

Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form videos (15s to 60s) for platforms like Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok
• Bring scripts and raw footage to life with strong narrative flow
• Add subtitles, meme-storytelling style text, sound effects, and stock footage as needed
• Collaborate with content creators, writers, and designers for high-impact edits
• Experiment with styles and formats to improve content performance
• Use AI tools and editing shortcuts to optimize workflow

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience editing content for digital-first brands or creators
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, comic timing, and audience engagement
• Proficiency in tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Da Vinci Resolve
• Understanding of internet trends, meme formats, and Gen-z humor
• Bonus: Experience with After Effects or motion design is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
