Description
As a front-end developer for a trading platform application, your role involves developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows such as Flux/Redux. You are expected to be self-driven, proactive, and committed. Responsibilities: - Developing new user-facing features using React.JS - Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use - Developing applications that are low latency and high performance - Translating designs into high-quality code - Optimizing components for maximum performance across devices and browsers Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model - Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles - Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux - Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMA Script (ES6) - Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js) - Knowledge of Material UI CSS framework, Node.js - Experience with test frameworks such as Jasmine, mocha, chai - Familiarity with RESTful APIs - Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token - Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements - Familiarity with code versioning tools Git, Perforce, and modern front-end build pipelines and tools About State Street: State Street is one of the largest custodian banks, asset managers, and asset intelligence companies in the world.
