Senior UI Developer (React.js)

As a front-end developer for a trading platform application, you will be responsible for developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows such as Flux/Redux. We are looking for a self-driven, proactive, and committed candidate with 8-10 years of experience. Your responsibilities will include developing new user-facing features using React.js, building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use, and developing applications that are low latency and high performance. You will also be translating designs into high-quality code, optimizing components for maximum performance across devices and browsers. Core skills required for this role include a strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, a thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles, experience with popular React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux, familiarity with newer specifications of ECMA Script (ES6), and experience with data structure libraries like Immutable.js. Knowledge of Material UI CSS framework, Node.js, test frameworks such as Jasmine, mocha, chai, familiarity with RESTful APIs, modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Token, and experience with common front-end development tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM are also essential. Additionally, the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements is crucial. Being a good team player with excellent communication skills is a must in a development environment where coordination with various teams is necessary for collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality product delivery. Good to have skills for this role include working experience in Finance/Banking projects, Trading & Settlement platforms, UNIX/Linux, and scripting experience. The role also involves designing, developing, and maintaining Enterprise applications and API frameworks to automate end-to-end integration systems testing.
