Job Description

Roles & Responsibility

Perform precision assembly, fitting, and adjustment of moulds/dies as per drawings and process standards.
Interpret and work from 2D/3D technical drawings and tool designs.
Support initial tool trials with production/machine shop teams.
Identify and correct any fitting or functional issues in assembled tools.
Maintain tool history records, checklists, and assembly logs.
Record issues and feedback for continuous improvement.
Support coordination with design, machining, and QA teams to resolve tool-related issues.

Required Skills:

Minimum 5 to 8 years in tool assembly (preferably in plastic injection moulds or die-casting).
Strong knowledge of tool components and mould/die assembly.
Ability to use measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, dial gauge, height gauge).
Familiarity with bench fitting, spotting press, and manual tools.
Understanding of tool tryout and validation procedures.
Basic knowledge of machining and CAD drawings.
