Agile Scrum environments

Key Responsibilities

• Agile Testing & Collaboration

• Work within Agile Scrum teams (2-week sprints), managing all testing activities for assigned stories/features.
  
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  

• Automation Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using

  Selenium WebDriver

  (Java/Python preferred).
• Create reusable and maintainable automation frameworks to support regression and functional testing.
  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
  

• Manual & Functional Testing

• Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
  
• Validate product functionality across browsers and devices.
  
• Document, track, and prioritize defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  

• Cross-Device & Mobile Testing

• Use

  Browserstack

  (or similar tools) to test applications across multiple devices, OS versions, and browsers.
• Conduct testing for web, mobile, and hybrid applications.
  

• Quality Advocacy

• Ensure adherence to best practices in test planning, execution, and reporting.
  
• Act as a quality advocate in Agile teams, driving shift-left testing practices.
  
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 6 - 10 years

  of overall software testing experience.
• Strong expertise in

  automation testing

  with

  Selenium WebDriver

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  manual testing

  for functional, regression, and system testing.
• Practical knowledge of

  Browserstack

  or equivalent tools for cross-browser/device testing.
• Solid understanding of

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  and working in iterative development cycles.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  

Good to Have

• Experience testing

  chat-based applications

  or customer-facing apps.
• Knowledge of

  API testing

  (Postman, REST Assured) or

  performance testing

  (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) for test automation integration.
  
• Exposure to

  security testing

  or accessibility testing standards.
