Senior Test Engineer

Role Summary

• As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our XR and web-based applications
• This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with developers, designers, and product teams
• You will take ownership of our testing frameworks, CI quality gates, and automation pipelines to maintain high-quality standards across releases

Primary Responsibilities (70%)

• Define and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, E2E)
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and cross-browser testing
• Identify, log, and track bugs using project management tools
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve test coverage
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows

Secondary Responsibilities (30%)

• Conduct exploratory and usability testing for XR interactions
• Create and manage test data sets and environments
• Contribute to release planning and go/no-go decisions
• Monitor production issues and conduct root cause analysis

Technical Skills

• Testing Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Mocha, Postman
• Languages & Frameworks: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIs
• CI/CD & DevOps: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, basic scripting
• Bug Tracking & Test Management: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr
• XR/Product Testing: 3D interaction validation, performance profiling

Qualifications

• Education

  : BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus.

• Experience

  : 6 years of hands-on experience in QA and software testing, including test automation and CI/CD integration.
• Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and risk-based testing strategies.
