Senior Test Engineer

As a Senior Test Engineer in Perth, you will be a key part of an agile multi-disciplinary development team focusing on cutting-edge mine automation solutions. Your role will involve working on both hardware and software systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Being accountable for testing and accepting technical and functional requirements of autonomy projects before delivering them to stakeholders. - Creating and maintaining testing artefacts like test cases, test scripts, test reports, and test plans. - Collaborating closely with product teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure that the test scope aligns with technology requirements. - Identifying and diagnosing functionality errors and faults in systems and programming code within established testing protocols and quality standards to ensure systems perform as specified. In terms of key relationships and interactions, you will work with internal stakeholders such as Project Managers, Project Engineers, Engineering Leads, Product Managers, Site Stakeholders, Asset Management Operational teams, Maintenance teams, and Training teams. Externally, you will engage with OEMs, development partners, and contracting partners. Some key actions you will undertake in this role include testing and validating functional and technical requirements, working with the Engineering team to test, validate, and accept deliverables, and creating and executing manual/automation test cases. You will provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders, participate in the design process, and collaborate with training teams to develop training packages for Autonomy projects. Additionally, you will support onsite teams in implementing new projects in the field. Your key accountabilities will involve testing mobile autonomy products against agreed deliverables, writing test cases, creating automated tests, documenting all test results, and delivering materials to site technicians through on-the-job support and training.,
