Position Description: You are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in manual testing, functional testing, and exposure to automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record in the banking domain and hands-on experience with the Robot Framework. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web and mobile applications. - Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation scripts using the Robot Framework. - Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting activities. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications Required To Be Successful In This Role: - Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on manual and functional testing. - Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect management. - Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for automation testing. - Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly preferred. Good to Have: - Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
