• Bachelor's degree in computer science/B.E. or equivalent
• Min 4 to 6 years of experience in Manual Testing and Test Automation using Selenium
• Proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium (Java), TestNG, and approaches like BDD, TDD, DevOps, kubernetes, CI/CD enablement, git, bitbucket
• Knowledge in BFSI domain, will be added advantage
• Experience in API testing
• Strong understanding of different types of functional tests (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing).
• Experience in Java, including writing and maintaining test scripts.
• Ability to design and implement effective test cases and scenarios.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to clearly document test cases, and defect reports.
• High level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of testing activities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases for functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, documenting the results.
• Perform different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance, security) to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
• Track and manage defects through to resolution, ensuring proper documentation and closure
• Participate in requirement reviews, test case reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
• Provide regular updates on testing status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
• Developing tools/utilities for testing.
• Should not hesitate to write code, if required.
