Senior Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and Test scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Role & responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

• Proficiency with

  JUnit

  and

  TestNG

  frameworks
• Solid knowledge of

  Postman

  and

  Rest Assured

  for API testing
• Deep understanding of

  Regression Testing

  ,

  Smoke Testing

  , and

  API Testing methodologies

• Experience with

  Test Planning

  , defect tracking, and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
• Familiarity with

  Agile QA practices

  , Scrum ceremonies, and CI/CD processes
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit
• Perform API Testing using Postman and Rest Assured
• Experience in Ready API, Bitbucket, TestNG, GIT, Jenkins.
• Experience in GIT, Jira and confluence.
• Develop and execute Regression and Smoke test suites to ensure application stability
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for new and existing features
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and QA-related ceremonies
• Conduct root cause analysis and work with the development team to resolve defects
• Provide release support by performing pre/post-deployment testing in staging/production environments
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and automation across projects
• Ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical audience.
• Ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas to stakeholders and partners.
• Builds strong commitment within the team to support the appropriate team priorities.
• Agile/scrum experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.
