Description

Job Description

We re looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with 5 6 years of experience in building robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks. This role is central to ensuring high-quality software delivery for SearchUnify, our AI-powered cognitive search platform.

If you re passionate about automation, experienced in Java and modern QA tools, and eager to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams this opportunity is for you.

Skills

Key Skills

5 6 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.
Proficient in Java for automation scripting.
Hands-on expertise with frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, JUnit.
Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling (nice to have).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and open-source tools.
Build and execute automated scripts for functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Identify, log, and manage bugs using JIRA or similar tools.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform end-to-end API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
Ensure reliability and stability of test environments.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and reviewing code.
