Roles & Responsibilities

• Framework Design & Implementation:

  Design and implement robust data validation frameworks, focusing on the

  semantic layer

  , schema compliance, and data contract adherence.

• Data Pipeline Validation:

  Build and automate end-to-end data pipeline validations across ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers using technologies like

  Databricks

  ,

  Apache Spark

  , and

  AWS services

  (S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation).

• CI/CD Integration:

  Lead test automation initiatives by developing scalable, modular test frameworks and embedding them into

  CI/CD pipelines

  for continuous validation.

• API & UI Testing:

  Validate

  GraphQL APIs

  by testing query structures and schema compliance using tools like

  Postman

  and

  Python

  . Oversee UI and visualization testing for dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) using

  Selenium with Python

  .

• QA Strategy & Leadership:

  Define and drive the overall QA strategy with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and semantic data accuracy. Implement alerting and reporting mechanisms for test failures and data contract violations.

• Collaboration & Mentorship:

  Work closely with data engineers, product managers, and architects to ensure quality is embedded from the earliest stages of development. You will also be responsible for mentoring and managing QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of

  7-12 years of overall experience in Test Automation

  , with

  6+ years

  of strong experience in Data Ops/Testing.
• Expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with

  Databricks

  ,

  Apache Spark

  , and

  AWS services

  (S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation).
• Proficiency in

  Python

  ,

  PySpark

  , and

  SQL

  for writing validation scripts.
• A solid understanding of

  GraphQL APIs

• Familiarity with
