Position Summary

Our team is responsible for the end to end system specification and system verification of the Schneider Electric's connected digital offers in order to guarantee their proper functioning, good quality and robustness in accordance with our customers expectations. We are looking for a System Design Leader who would like to learn and work on new technologies around the Internet of Things, software and cloud applications facilitating the integration of new connected products to system and bringing consistency across the system.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define the end to end system specifications based on the use cases identified in collaboration with the business owners, system architects and various product development teams.
  • Making sure of the delivery of the specifications defined by synching with different product teams.
  • Work with business owners to understand the business value and to be part of backlog prioritization & re-prioritization.
  • Work with architects to define the functional and non-functional requirements as per the architectural roadmap defined.
  • Build the long term system view, by anticipating on future technical system/segment requirements and by integrating innovation coming from LoBs.
  • Bachelor or Masters in engineering specialised in embedded systems, software, cloud.
  • Knowledge on Model Based Software Engineering tools: UML, Cameo, Jama.
  • Knowledge on software development: Git, JSON, YAML.
  • Knowledge on low voltage/medium voltage electrical distribution system.
  • Have a good knowledge on system engineering, system architecture, customer use cases and solution design.
  • Great leadership skills, ability to influence partners and stakeholders.
  • Awareness of customer pain points and ability to find features that bring value.
  • Ability to work and contribute as an effective team player in a fast-paced technical driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
