Join the buildings department in Chennai Were seeking a passionate Structural Engineer to drive the design process through all project phases, ensuring top-tier solutions that meet client needs and industry standards. As a Structural Engineer, youll report to the Head of Building Structures, India ready to make your mark? Your responsibilities will be to: Support /develop feasibility, prepare project design basis, and detailed design of Structural Engineering services in buildings and industrial projects as per client requirement. Work independently and lead a team of engineers to deliver design work packages and support junior staff in their career development. Prepare activity-time-resource plan for a project, maintain log on estimated time to complete the project, maintain document control plan for the design deliverables, ensure all project KPI s are met while making the final delivery. Lead a team of engineers with advanced technical accuracy, monitor the delegated task, track the deadlines, identify the potential risk in design, flag additional resource requirement to Discipline Lead. Do project co-ordination across discipline and offer sustainable solution on the interface comments/issues. Review and certify the quality of design deliverables made to counterpart/client. Lead the internal meetings with counterpart discipline lead/PM, update the project progress, explain, and agree up on major design decisions & disseminate information within the team. Your skills. Moreover, you will have: Bachelor s in civil engineering / Masters in Structural Engineering from a recognized Institute with minimum 5 - 15 years of experience in design of RCC, steel and precast and composite structures. Proficiency in technical structural software s like ROBOT/FEM design, ETABS, SAFE. Knowledge of REVIT Structure and Navisworks, will be preferred, but not essential. Knowledge of International Codes related to Structural engineering - EURO(EN), BS.EN, ACI, AISE Standards. Proven track record of technical delivery of challenging structural engineering design projects both within team and under own initiative Good, project management skills with strong communication and willingness to learn new advancements in design industry.
