Senior Staff Software Engineer, One Platform

Role Overview: As a software engineer at Google Cloud, you will be part of a team developing cutting-edge technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Develop the future of API Experience to support both internal and external customers. - Define and execute goals for the API Proxy, identifying opportunities, evaluating impact, and prioritizing initiatives. - Provide technical leadership by establishing the team's direction, conducting design and code reviews, and serving as a technical authority. - Collaborate with other teams, including SRE, engprod, and cross-functional partners, to ensure design alignment and drive project success. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience in software development. - 5 years of experience testing and launching software products. - 3 years of experience with software design and architecture. - Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (preferred). - 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms (preferred). - 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams. - Experience with API management and platforms for developers. - Experience with cloud technologies and working with global teams.,
