Senior Staff Research Engineer

As a member of the Analytics team at Netradyne, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and commercializing driver monitoring and driver assistance algorithms. You will have the opportunity to work with large datasets and deploy new algorithms into thousands of vehicles. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and commercializing algorithms that characterize driving behavior. - Implementing and tracking key metrics, as well as architecting data-driven solutions. - Enhancing machine learning infrastructure for scalable training and inference. - Innovating and developing proof of concept solutions to demonstrate novel capabilities. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. - Proficiency in Python (required) and C++ (desired). - 10+ years of experience in research or industry within computer vision and machine learning. - Ability to translate abstract product concepts into practical solutions. - Strong problem-solving skills for cutting-edge challenges. - Hands-on experience in edge deployments targeting various hardware platforms. Desired Skills: - Experience working with image, video, and time-series data. - Knowledge of camera calibration, multi-view geometry, 3D reconstruction, and SLAM. - Familiarity with state-of-the-art multi-camera BEV and Occupancy prediction algorithms. - Expertise in road scene understanding, including objects, lanes, intersections, and signs. - Proven track record of applying machine learning to real-world problems. - Conducting successful statistical experiments.
