Senior Staff Graphics Engineer

As an experienced professional in embedded software development, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPU platforms. Your role will involve working on heterogeneous compute platforms with CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, and MM hardware accelerators in embedded SoC systems. You should have hands-on experience with GFX UMD driver development, such as Vulkan, OpenGLES, OpenCL, or GFX KMD. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop software for embedded systems using J-TAG or ICE debuggers - Work on E2E GPU SW product life cycle from Pre-silicon to SW Commercialization - Develop 2D and 3D graphics technology using OpenGL, OpenGL ES/EGL, Vulkan - Implement Linux GFX compositors like Wayland, Buffer management like GBM, Linux Device Trees, Linux device drivers, and Yocto build system - Utilize GPU as a compute engine for GPGPU and OpenCL - Optimize GPU performance, rendering, and latency in graphics applications - Write Vertex and Fragment shaders using GLSL - Work with operating systems like Linux Android, QNX, and embedded Linux - Collaborate effectively with teams across multiple time zones - Mentor and lead technical teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 6+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 5+ years of experience OR PhD with 4+ years of experience - 3+ years of experience in programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Qualcomm is committed to providing equal opportunities and accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
