Senior Staff Engineer - Quality Engineer PC Video Game Tester

As a PC Game Tester at Qualcomm India Private Limited's Snapdragon Studios, your primary role will be to execute test plans to ensure the best gaming experience on Windows on Arm Snapdragon platforms. You will play a crucial part in testing PC games, familiarizing yourself with various game storefronts, and diving deep into performance issues, reporting encountered issues clearly and concisely. This position offers you a unique opportunity to investigate Windows application failures on Snapdragon Windows devices. Qualification Required: - Minimum 12-17 years of experience in testing video games - Technical understanding of game technologies, quality setting permutations, and performance - Ability to identify, reproduce, and report issues clearly - Excellent pattern recognition skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Self-motivated Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in using Windows debugging software stack like WinDBG, EventViewer, etc. - Experience with test automation and reporting tools/scripts - Familiarity with performance reporting tools such as FRAPS, WPR, PresentMon, etc. Education Requirements: - A BS, MS, or PhD degree in an engineering or computer science-related field.
