Senior Staff Engineer - Quality Engineer PC Video Game Tester

Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for a PC Game Tester to join Snapdragon Studios. As a PC Game Tester, you will be responsible for executing test plans to ensure the best gaming experience on Windows on Arm Snapdragon platforms. You should be comfortable with testing PC games, familiar with various game storefronts, and capable of delving deep into performance issues and reporting encountered issues clearly and concisely. This role offers a unique opportunity to investigate Windows application failures on Snapdragon Windows devices. Our teams comprise veteran game developers, artists, game engine experts, and graphics enthusiasts who work on cutting-edge GPU and gaming hardware innovations for mobile, PC, and XR platforms. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Experience testing video games (12-17 Years) - Technical understanding of game technologies, quality setting permutations, performance, etc. - Ability to find, reproduce, and clearly report issues - Excellent ability to infer and recognize patterns - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-motivated **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience using Windows debugging software stack (WinDBG, EventViewer, etc.) - Experience with test automation and reporting tools/scripts - Performance reporting via tools such as FRAPS, WPR, PresentMon, etc. **Education Requirements:** A BS, MS, or PhD degree in an engineering or computer science-related field.
