Senior Spring Boot Developer

As a Senior Spring Boot Developer at our innovative Fintech/Edtech startup based in Mumbai, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend applications using Spring Boot. Your expertise in Java development and relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL will be vital in creating high-performance applications that enhance learning and financial management experiences for our users. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend applications using Spring Boot. - Develop and optimize database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and ensure data integrity using MySQL/PostgreSQL. - Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities and third-party integrations. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. - Work closely with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 4+ years of professional experience in Java development with a strong focus on Spring Boot. - Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL, including experience with complex queries and performance tuning. - Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. - Experience with Git or similar version control systems. - Strong analytical and debugging skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
