Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Specialist in Product Experience Design at Mastercard's development center in Pune, you will be instrumental in designing Proof-of-Concepts and Minimum Viable Data Products (MVPs) by applying human-centric design principles and rapid prototyping techniques. Your role will involve active participation in "Design Thinking" workshops, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize digital data products, and exploring innovative solutions in the realm of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing Mastercard's design pattern library and shaping the future of data-driven products. Key Responsibilities: - Design Proof-of-Concepts and MVPs focusing on human-centric design and rapid prototyping - Collaborate in "Design Thinking" workshops to enhance digital data products - Contribute to enriching Mastercard's design pattern library - Define the next generation of data and data-driven products - Establish a cohesive visual language across web, mobile, and IoT devices - Create future state conceptual designs to elevate overall product design - Ensure design solutions align with business goals and user engagement - Work with regional teams to address global user requirements - Drive Visual Experience Design (VXD) initiatives across a wider ecosystem Qualifications Required: - Proficient in developing User Archetypes, Personas, and user journeys - Skilled in rapid prototyping and Design Thinking methodologies - Capable of articulating elegant and engaging experiences through sketches, storyboards, and prototypes - Familiarity with prototyping/wireframing tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc. - Understanding of complex information architectures for digital applications In addition to the core qualifications, you should have experience in articulating visual experiences using sketches, storyboards, and prototypes. Proficiency in creating compelling visual mockups and prototypes across various media and form factors is crucial. Knowledge of leading VXD software packages and motion graphic design is advantageous. Your research skills should encompass consuming UX research, leading Design Thinking workshops, and analyzing competitor experiences. Prior experience in a world-class UX team and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup-like environment are necessary. Client-facing experience and a passion for user-centric design are key attributes. A degree in Design for Interactive Media or equivalent experience is mandatory, accompanied by a robust portfolio covering multiple form factors. Continuous learning and keeping abreast of new technologies are vital for exploring design possibilities. Lastly, a commitment to upholding Mastercard's security policies and practices, ensuring information confidentiality and integrity, reporting any security breaches, and completing mandatory security trainings are essential for this role.
