Senior Specialist - Integration

The Senior Specialist - Integration will play a vital role in our Smart Integration (API) - Delivery department, Bristlecone India Limited. You will be responsible for end-to-end integration projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable integration solutions. Your expertise in OIC and other integration platforms will be key to our success in connecting Oracle Cloud with various on-premises systems and third-party platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end integration projects using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other iPaaS tools.
• Develop and maintain integrations with Oracle SaaS (ERP, HCM, SCM) and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Create and manage REST/SOAP APIs, data mappings, and error handling flows, adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, conduct testing, and provide ongoing support.
• Ensure integration solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Build integrations between Oracle Cloud and on-premises systems, utilizing OIC and other integration patterns.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and exception recovery mechanisms for reliable integrations.
• Tuning high-volume and long-running integrations to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Design and manage REST and SOAP APIs, incorporating OAuth2 and other security policies.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and lead technical workshops to foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in integration development, with a strong focus on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Proficiency in building integrations between Oracle Cloud and on-premises systems using OIC.
• Deep understanding of integration patterns, including sync/async, pub-sub, file-based, and event-driven models.
• Expertise in using OIC Adapters (REST, SOAP, DB, FTP, ERP, HCM, etc.) for seamless data exchange.
• Experience in implementing robust error handling, logging, and exception recovery mechanisms.
• Ability to tune and optimize high-volume and long-running integrations for improved performance.
• Knowledge of API design and management, including REST and SOAP APIs, OAuth2, and security policies.
• Familiarity with SOA/OSB API development is a plus, along with experience in migrating integrations to OIC.
• Exposure to other iPaaS tools like Dell Boomi or MuleSoft Apps is advantageous.
