Senior Specialist - Customer Support

Your role will involve enabling the discovery of new financial relationships and strategies by thoroughly understanding clients" quantitative requirements and providing the best solution set for them. **Role Responsibilities:** - Provide niche customer service support to analysts, researchers, and quants at prominent investment firms, banks, and hedge funds - Assist clients in understanding, extracting, and using Refinitiv and third-party data from a centralized SQL or Oracle database for their back-testing models - Research, code scripts, and address client inquiries on content and database functionality, working with internal and external parties for resolution - Build long-term relationships with clients through training, client meetings, and timely assistance in their financial research project and model development needs - Meet with Sales and prospective customers, capture product requirements, demonstrate platform aspects, and assist in onboarding new business - Advocate for and test new product features to improve customer experience and promote increased product usage - Contribute to continuous business process improvement through Lean Six Sigma inspired project contributions - Act as a coach or mentor for Product Specialists and new hires **Qualifications and Experience Required:** - Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Engineering/Computer Science, Finance, or Mathematics from a top university - Knowledge and experience with financial or big data databases - Intermediate Microsoft SQL coding experience - Experience in equity market and data content with a good understanding of general financial markets - Experience in quantitative analytics, equity research, equity or credit risk, or financial modeling - Familiarity with statistics and econometric packages like Matlab and R, and programming languages like Python - Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel via various means of communication - Effective presentation skills and problem-solving abilities Join LSEG and become part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
