Job Description

Job Title:

Senior Software Test Engineer (Loan Management System)

Experience:

4-6 Years

Location:

Ahmedabad (Requires travel to Jaipur for 3 to 4 weeks)

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in software testing, specifically within the Loan Management System (LMS) domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial software solutions through structured testing methodologies and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to identify test requirements
Design, execute, and maintain test effort estimation, test plans, and test documentation for Loan Management Application(s)
Perform functional, regression, integration, system and user acceptance testing
Develop test automation scripts and enhance automation testing frameworks for improved test efficiency
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
Conduct API testing and database validation
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards in testing
Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospective and daily standups
Travel to onsite locations for project requirements

Required Skills Qualifications:

4-6 years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 2-3 years of project QA experience in Loan Management Application domain
Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC), defect life cycle and agile methodologies
Strong experience in test estimation, test planning, test authoring, test execution, defect monitoring and test reporting
Hands-on experience with test automation using automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Testsigma etc.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger etc.
Proficiency in SQL for database validation
Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
QA team leading or management experience is a plus
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-based Loan Management Systems/Applications
Exposure to test management, defect management and project management tools
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks
ISTQB or equivalent certification
