Senior Software Test Engineer (Functional)

As a Senior Software Test Engineer (Functional) at KiwiQA Services in Ahmedabad, your role will involve: - Understanding client requirements, functional and design specifications - Preparing test plan and test estimation documents and reviewing with project stakeholders - Participating in walkthroughs of testing procedures - Carrying out testing as per the defined test strategy - Having sound knowledge about reporting and tracking quality defects - Ensuring that all testing related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures - Collaborating with peer team members and reviewing test deliverables - Being agile in testing approach and ready to take up new challenges - Developing performance scripts and respective configurations - Working closely with Development and Project Management teams to get things done - Being ready to adjust work shift as per the project requirements - Participating in special projects/assignments and performing additional duties as assigned Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field - Good understanding of SDLC, STLC concepts and agile methodology - Strong knowledge about test management, defect management and project management tools - Responsible for ensuring end-to-end testing methodology including all appropriate documentation and requirements - Ability to work with the team of test engineers, product managers, business analysts, and software developers to find out solutions - Ensuring test results are accurate, thorough and appropriately documented - Hands-on project experience with API testing - Good Knowledge about Database testing, Performance testing, and Security testing - Good verbal and written communication skills - Able to express work fluently and convince stakeholders Additional Company Details: If you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about software testing and automation, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at KiwiQA Services.
