Job Title : Senior Software Test Engineer (Automation) Experience : 4 - 6 Years Location: Ahmedabad Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Test Engineer with strong experience in automation testing to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Playwright, Selenium automation frameworks and Testsigma tools. You will be responsible for designing test automation framework and developing test automation scripts to ensure high product quality and seamless user experiences. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Testsigma, Playwright, Selenium, and similar tools. Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework. Analyze test results, troubleshoot test execution logs, identify trends, and suggest improvements. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with functional QA team members, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables. Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using standard bug tracking tools. Ensure smoke testing and regression testing are performed with every release cycle. Analyze test results, debug issues, and work with the development team for resolution. Continuously improve test automation framework and processes for better test coverage. Present test automation results with analysis to the stakeholders. Ready to adjust work shifts as per the project requirements. Participate in special projects/assignments and perform additional duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering or a related field. Good understanding of SDLC, STLC and agile testing methodologies. Strong project exposure to test planning, test estimation and test reporting. Must have hands-on project experience for test automation script development and troubleshooting using Selenium, Playwright frameworks or Testsigma tool. Strong experience with programming languages Java, JavaScript or Python. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Mocha. Experience in developing, executing and maintaining test automation scripts for web and/or mobile applications. Experience with version control systems like Git and with continuous integration using GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Exposure to test orchestration platforms like Lambdatest, Browserstack, etc. Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of API automation and performance testing is a plus.
