Job Title: Software Test Lead - Automation & Functional Testing Location: Bangalore Experience: 7-10 years Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Lead to join our QA team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional and automation testing and will lead a team to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, design, and execution of test strategies for functional and automation testing. Coordinate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define test requirements. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, etc.). Perform hands-on testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Identify test data requirements and prepare test data as needed. Track, report, and manage defects through resolution. Proficient in Test Management, Stakeholder Management, Inter-group Coordination, Communication, Quality, and Measurements. Proficient in Web Application and API Testing. IVR Application understanding - Good to have. Mentor junior QA team members and ensure adherence to best practices. Continuously improve test processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead role. Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and test case design techniques. Proven experience in automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.). Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
