Senior Software Quality Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Quality Analyst to become a valuable member of our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by employing effective testing practices. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in agile development practices and demonstrate expertise in a variety of testing types including load, performance, security, and database. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, familiarity with cloud project management platforms, and a sound understanding of automation and deployment processes are also essential. As a Quality Analyst, your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and actively contribute to agile development processes. You will participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to align testing activities with development goals. Your testing expertise will be crucial as you conduct comprehensive testing across various areas to ensure the reliability and scalability of software applications. This involves developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements while identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects to resolution. Utilizing your knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS, you will create and manage test environments and collaborate with development teams to ensure testing aligns with cloud architecture best practices. Moreover, your involvement in cloud project management platforms will be essential in planning, tracking, and reporting on testing activities, contributing to project timelines and milestones to integrate testing activities into the overall development lifecycle. Automation will be a key focus as you design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes. You will identify opportunities for test automation and implement solutions to increase test coverage. Having a solid understanding of deployment processes, you will collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and error-free deployments. Your contributions to the development of deployment scripts and participation in deployment activities will be vital in this aspect. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience as a Quality Analyst or in a similar role within agile software development environments. Strong expertise in load, performance, security, and database testing, hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, AWS, and other cloud platforms, proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, as well as knowledge of deployment processes and practices are required.
