Job Description

As a software engineer at Google, you will be developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users, changing the way they connect, explore, and interact with information. Your role will involve handling information at a massive scale and working on a variety of projects critical to Google's needs. **Responsibilities:** - Write and test product or system development code. - Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices. - Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adjust based on feedback. - Triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve by analyzing sources of issues. - Design and implement solutions in specialized Machine Learning (ML) areas, leveraging ML infrastructure. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. - 3 years of experience with Speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or related ML fields. - 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure. - 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products. - 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. - 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. - Experience in building Large Language Model (LLM) based user-facing systems. - Experience in building LLM evaluations.,
