Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Workday Financials Integration, you will be instrumental in the development of the next-generation BlackLine application and data platform, focusing on ERP data integration components. Your primary responsibility will involve driving innovation by designing, developing, troubleshooting, maintaining, optimizing, and scaling cloud-based BlackLine connectors, components, services, and frameworks. This includes utilizing ERP integration, Odata services, REST, SOAP, Event Bus, API Gateway, Job Scheduler, Identity Management, Search, Workflow Orchestration, and Data Integration technologies. Your passion for delivering impactful products, dedication to continuous improvement, and desire to work collaboratively in an agile environment will be highly valued. Your duties and responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, optimizing, and maintaining highly scalable and secure distributed backend services while ensuring adherence to coding and quality standards. Additionally, you will contribute to project planning, participate in architecture and design discussions, and enforce software development best practices to meet integration, performance, security, and maintainability requirements. Furthermore, you will conduct research on new tools and technologies, maintain software quality standards, proactively identify areas for improvement, and provide critical maintenance, deployment, and release support. Your expertise in Workday financials, integration with third-party applications, and experience with ERP data integration, API integrations, and low-code/no-code integration platforms will be crucial for success in this role. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, data integrations, RESTful APIs, SOAP, and microservices, along with a BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Additionally, proficiency in Workday financial technical aspects, Workday public API, Workday Query Language, SOAP, REST API, ERP data integration, and low-code/no-code Integration Platform or ETL tools is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, expertise in design and architecture, familiarity with internet security issues, and experience with SaaS programming environments are essential. Excellent communication skills, adaptability, collaboration, and a focus on engineering excellence through automation, unit testing, and process improvements are highly valued. Preferred qualifications include Workday financials certification, exposure to third-party Integration Platforms, Ruby on Rails development, Unix or Linux knowledge, Angular development, JavaScript or TypeScript proficiency, experience with public clouds, and familiarity with Test-Driven Design and Mocking concepts. A background in FinTech or Financial services would be advantageous.,
