Senior Software Engineer - UI/UX (React)

Role Overview: You will quickly ramp-up and understand the UI framework, implementation, and overall feature set of the team. As a part of the team, you will take ownership of quality, enhancements, and new features in specific areas of the UI code. Working closely with product management, UX designers, and other developers, you will understand customers" needs and identify areas for improvement. Your contribution to continuous product improvement will help define and design highly usable and responsive solutions. Additionally, you will review code and technical designs to provide guidance for other team members working in the UI framework. You should be eager to take on additional responsibilities as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Strong JavaScript/Core skills are required. - Expertise in ES6, TypeScript, and React UI framework is essential. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, SCSS, and CI/CD working knowledge is expected. - Experience in building a design system and large-scale asynchronous web applications is necessary. - Ability to collaborate on the design of RESTful Web APIs is crucial. - Strong drive to write well-organized self-documenting code and passion for building responsive and intuitive user interfaces are key aspects. - High attention to detail in visual designs, experience in working in an Agile environment, and knowledge of Agile SDLC are important. - Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills are required. Qualifications: - Experience with Webpack, ES6 classes, modules, ExtJS, and JavaScript testing frameworks (e.g., Karma, Jasmine, Jest) is highly desired. - Expertise in writing high-performant cross-browser UI code and understanding of internationalization and localization are important. - Experience in security and/or identity-related areas is a plus.
