Senior Software Engineer Testing

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience, your main responsibility will be to perform hands-on testing activities for projects while following industry-standard testing best practices and innovations. You will conduct both functional and non-functional testing for the projects under test. Your role will involve actively participating in requirement gathering exercises, sprint planning/grooming sessions, and collaborating with the team to ensure the quality of the applications under test. Additionally, you will aim to achieve release goals and continuously seek opportunities to enhance testing processes by integrating industry best practices and innovative approaches. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with customers and project teams to understand requirements - Collaborate with the Business Analysis team to translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria - Create testing artifacts such as Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Logs, Defects, and Test Summary Reports - Coordinate defect triage meetings and conduct test executions using test management tools - Design test automation scripts and present demos of user stories during sprint demos - Manage and mentor testing team members - Identify and communicate quality risks to the test lead or Project Manager - Ensure compliance with ISMS policies and procedures Qualifications Required: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Team-oriented and innovative in proposing new ideas and processes - Highly motivated, self-starting, and proactive in issue resolution - Ability to work effectively with limited supervision - Willingness to quickly learn new testing tools and technologies and implement them efficiently Note: The job location for this position is Kochi.,
