(Senior) Software Engineer - Technical Lead

As a Technical Lead at Aurora in Gurugram, India, you will have the exciting opportunity to build a new software development team that will be a crucial part of the wider Software Development Organization based in Oxford. Your role will involve turning product ideas into reality, shaping the future of global energy markets. You will work on cutting-edge Microservices using TypeScript/ExpressJS/AWS Lambdas and Micro-frontends built on React, contributing to the creation of customer-facing software from design to deployment. At Aurora, you will utilize processes and tooling that enable multiple releases to customers daily. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build a new software development team in the new Indian office. - Collaborate closely with the team in Oxford on upcoming development projects. - Lead projects to completion, ensuring timely delivery meeting user requirements. - Innovate highly effective solutions by closely working with end users (internal and external). **Qualifications Required:** - Substantial commercial experience in developing complex software solutions with Node/TypeScript, ExpressJS, React, SQL, NoSQL, Cloud Infrastructure, or similar technologies. - Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions and solving challenging technical problems. - Experience in leading software teams with a portfolio of successful projects. - Ability to lead a project technically from inception to completion. - Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal abilities. - Familiarity with unit testing and working with CI/CD pipelines.
