Senior Software Engineer- React and Next.Js

Role Overview: You will be working as a Software Engineer at BOLD on a new project that merges recruitment with advertising technology. Collaborating with product management and world-wide development squads in an agile environment, your main focus will be on features that impact job seekers, recruiters, and employers to match the right candidate to the right job. The goal is to modernize the platform and services to simplify the process of finding the right candidate, making it a rewarding experience for all involved. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js. - Implement SSR/SSG, routing, and data-fetching strategies for optimized performance. - Design and manage SCSS/CSS architecture for responsive and maintainable styling. - Write and maintain unit tests with Jest and React Testing Library to ensure code quality. - Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs securely and efficiently. - Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker). - Use Git for version control, code reviews, and collaborative development. - Continuously monitor, debug, and optimize applications for speed and performance. Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency in TypeScript with modern ES features. - Experience with React & Next.js including SSR/SSG, routing, data fetching, and performance optimization. - Proficiency in SCSS/CSS architecture for scalable styling and responsive design. - Knowledge of unit testing using Jest and React Testing Library. - Experience integrating with RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with CI/CD processes, ideally Jenkins and Spinnaker. - Experience in building Design Systems and component libraries. - Knowledge of E2E Automation tools like Playwright or Cypress. - Understanding of Web Performance Optimization, Accessibility, Security Practices, OAuth Authentications Flows, and Monitoring & Logging.
