As a Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer/Principal Engineer in Automation, Scripting & Platform Engineering, your role involves the following responsibilities: - **Automation & Development:** - Develop automation scripts/tools using Python, GoLang, or C#. - Build and maintain automated test frameworks for API/UI/Backend testing. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows. - Create robust and scalable automation solutions for various engineering teams. - **System, Platform & Infrastructure Engineering:** - Work with Linux-based systems for testing, validation, and automation. - Automate deployments, monitoring tasks, and configuration workflows. - Design and execute system, integration, regression, and performance tests. - **DevOps & Quality Engineering:** - Utilize tools like Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, or Podman. - Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency. At Level 12 as a Software Engineer, with 4 years of experience: - Work on Python or GoLang scripts for automation and testing. - Execute test cases, debug issues, and create basic automation modules. - Perform system validation, API testing, and tool scripting. - Learn and work with Linux, Git, CI/CD, and Docker. - Implement automation for repetitive tasks to improve efficiency. At Level 3 as a Senior Software Engineer, with 5-8 years of experience: - Lead end-to-end automation solution design. - Work with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, config management, and Linux internals. - Build reusable frameworks for automation and platform integration. - Mentor junior engineers and review automation code. - Manage deployments, runbooks, and automation of platform operations. At Level 4 as a Principal Engineer/Lead, with 8-12 years of experience: - Own the architecture of automation frameworks across teams. - Build UI Automation using Playwright/Selenium with C#. - Lead technical design, code reviews, and automation strategy. - Automate complex full-stack flows (UI, API, backend, and system-level). - Define best practices, maintain quality governance, and improve platforms. - Work with cross-geo teams (India + US) to drive engineering outcomes. **Technology Stack:** - Automation & Development: Python, GoLang, C#, JavaScript - Playwright/Selenium, API Automation (REST/JSON) - DevOps Tools: Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions - Ansible, Docker/Podman - CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins/GitHub Actions - Platforms: Linux & Cloud basics (AWS/Azure) This is a full-time position with the option for a hybrid or work from office setup in Pune, Bangalore, or Hyderabad.
