Senior Software Engineer (Platform)

Role Overview: As a Senior Platform Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of software components to support the application development environment. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing application components and applications for Integral products. You will also be involved in upgrading applications to the latest databases and infrastructure components, evaluating new software solutions, and developing documentation and test procedures for software. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of software components and applications - Upgrade applications to latest databases and infrastructure components - Evaluate new software solutions for potential adoption - Develop documentation and test procedures for software - Lead engineering unit testing, debugging, and release of software - Develop software development and Software as a Service (SaaS) architecture standards - Optimize availability and reduce latency in software components - Review projects to embed architectural standards, eliminate duplicate functionality, and mitigate divergence from objectives - Perform analysis and design of software applications, estimating, planning, and scheduling agile projects - Provide technical application support in a 24/7 environment - Organize and conduct performance tests of applications Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science - 5+ years of development experience in Java, Go, or similar languages - Strong problem-solving skills and experience in designing distributed systems - Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming - Good knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and AWS - Experience in building microservices - Effective time management and workload prioritization skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Agile coding experience in small teams,
