As a Senior Software Engineer, your role involves developing and deploying Node JS Backend for a long-term software project for a US client based in Trivandrum, India. You will collaborate with the existing project team on technical and management aspects, including requirement elicitation, software architecture designing, implementation, code reviews, and deployment in a Cloud environment. Your responsibilities include ensuring the quality of deliverables, working independently with self-initiatives, decision-making capabilities, and a proactive attitude. Key Responsibilities: - Perform software requirements analysis to determine functional and non-functional project requirements. - Analyze requirements and create solutions along with software architecture design. - Write high-quality code and conduct developer level verification. - Deploy applications in the Cloud environment using relevant Cloud services. - Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding requirements and deliverable expectations. - Ensure on-time delivery of products with high quality. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including customers, for successful project execution. - Manage priority changes and conflicts gracefully with all involved stakeholders. - Address customer escalations promptly and identify and resolve product issues efficiently. - Proactively suggest and utilize tools and systems to enhance quality and productivity. - Stay updated on technological and process advancements. Qualifications And Requirements: - Over three years of experience in NodeJS development. - Proficiency in developing Web APIs and RESTful services. - Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases such as MongoDB. - Experience with code quality tools and unit testing. - Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP services like Cloud Healthcare API, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud functions, Firestore, Cloud SQL, Workflows, Cloud Storage, etc., is advantageous. - Proficient in deploying, scaling, and monitoring applications in GCP. - Understanding of code versioning tools like Git, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and version control. - Experience in Agile software development methodology. - Familiarity with various development tools for designing, coding, debugging, testing, bug tracking, collaboration, and source control. - Knowledge of Healthcare domain and protocols like DICOM and HL7 is a plus.
