As a member of the Consumer Commerce Platform team at Microsoft, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of Microsoft Cloud customers and partners. By leveraging analysis services and machine learning models, you will provide valuable insights that help improve business models and services. Your work will also involve generating key metrics related to cloud adoption within Microsoft, enabling informed decision-making within the organization. Working alongside a diverse team, you will continuously engage with customers and partners, measure outcomes, and enhance business models to ensure customer and partner success translates into Microsoft's success. **Responsibilities:** - Forming and leading a team of 6-8 engineers. - Driving execution on project strategy in collaboration with product management. - Fostering a culture of excellence in execution by adhering to modern engineering principles and practices. - Collaborating with leaders across geographic and organizational boundaries to drive impactful changes. - Leading the definition of requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), priorities, and planning of engineering deliverables. - Coaching and mentoring team members. - Actively shaping and driving a flexible, diverse, and inclusive culture that brings out the best in the team. **Qualifications:** **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 7+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. - 5+ years of people management experience. - Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and common Design Patterns. - Experience in DevOps to maintain live services and/or application frameworks. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Analytical skills with a systematic and structured approach to software design. - Commitment to building highly scalable, highly reliable services. - Experience with or exposure to Agile and iterative development processes. - Collaborating with technical partners to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Ability to quickly ramp up on multiple technology areas. - Confident and articulate in expressing ideas to a mixed audience with varying views and challenges. - Cultural sensitivity and a proven ability to work with teams and partners across multiple geographies. - A sense of personal ownership is required, together with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines while managing internal stakeholder expectations. - Self-motivated and organized to deliver results.
