Senior Software Engineer, iOS

As a Senior Software Engineer, iOS at Poshmark, you will be a key member of our team in Chennai, India. Your primary responsibility will be to architect, build, iterate, and manage our iOS mobile application. You will have the exciting opportunity to own and deliver features independently while collaborating closely with our design, product, and engineering teams to create seamless and intuitive user experiences. In this role, you will leverage your strong foundation in programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for mobile systems. With at least 4 years of relevant software engineering experience, including developing iOS apps released into the AppStore, you will be proficient in Swift, Objective C, and XCode. Your expertise in software design patterns like MVVM, multi-threading, performance & memory optimization, unit testing, and RESTful APIs will be essential in developing scalable and well-designed software that enhances people's lives globally. Within the first 6 months, you will familiarize yourself with Poshmark's ecosystem and tools, actively contribute to iOS feature development, and establish effective collaboration within your team and with other departments such as Product, Design, QA, and DevOps. As you progress, your 12+ month accomplishments will include driving feature development independently, suggesting improvements to the iOS application code, and mentoring fellow developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
