Senior Software Engineer II - Java and React/React Native

As a Senior Software Engineer II (Full Stack), you will serve as a critical technical leader within our engineering organization. You will design, develop, deploy, and maintain innovative full-stack solutions leveraging your expertise in Java, ReactJS, AWS, and advanced AI tools. Your role will require strategic thinking, technical depth, and leadership in mentoring and guiding engineering teams towards excellence. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that not only meet today's business needs but also shape our technology future.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in the design, architecture, and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions leveraging Java, ReactJS, and AWS cloud technologies
• Own end-to-end delivery of software solutions, from requirements analysis and architectural design to hands-on development, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Lead and mentor software engineers, driving best practices in software development, code quality, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Build intuitive, responsive front-end applications using ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Develop robust, scalable backend micro services and APIs using Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) and microservices architectures
• Strategically leverage AWS services (such as EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM) to build reliable, secure, and highly available cloud-native solutions
• Integrate and operationalize emerging AI/ML technologies and APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Amazon AI services, etc.) to deliver intelligent solutions that enhance business value
• Drive agile methodologies within teams, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and DevOps practices
• Proactively identify and resolve technical debt, performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security vulnerabilities to maintain high-quality, resilient software applications
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX Design, Data Scientists, DevOps, and other stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into practical, maintainable technical solutions
• Produce comprehensive documentation for technical designs, architecture decisions, and coding standards to ensure clarity, transparency, and knowledge transfer
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, proactively recommending innovations to improve technology effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
• 9+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, including significant experience in designing and architecting scalable enterprise solutions
• Extensive experience deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud applications
• Demonstrable experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Postgres /DynamoDB, RDS, ECS, EKS, CloudFormation)
• Deep hands-on expertise in Java, Spring ecosystem, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and design patterns
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, along with Ssolid SQL skills
• Experience in agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid Monitoring tools usage experience like Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace
• Solid proficiency in front-end technologies including ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux or equivalent state management, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI/UX design principles
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and APIs (such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, AWS AI/ML services) and experience integrating them into software solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare domain and understanding of healthcare data and workflows
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with performance optimization, monitoring, and logging tools
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Git, and GitHub Actions
• Exposure to modern architectural patterns such as microservices, serverless computing, and event-driven architecture
