Senior Software Engineer I - AI

As a Software Engineer II - AI at Celigo, you will play a crucial role in driving Celigo's internal AI/ML initiatives and enhancing the integration platform with advanced AI capabilities. With 1-4 years of experience, you will collaborate with a skilled team to implement cutting-edge AI solutions, streamline business processes, and shape the future of cloud integrations. Your responsibilities will include evaluating, implementing, and deploying leading AI/ML frameworks such as OpenAI, LangChain, Pinecone, Spacy, and Hugging Face. You will develop and refine natural language processing (NLP) models on the OpenAI platform tailored to specific business use cases. Additionally, you will apply machine learning techniques to analyze and interpret data effectively. In terms of backend engineering, you will architect, implement, and deploy Python microservices on AWS using containers/Kubernetes, delivered via a fully automated CI/CD pipeline. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner with software engineers to integrate AI/ML capabilities into products, ensuring seamless functionality and an exceptional user experience. You will also work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative AI solutions. Ensuring security and best practices is a critical aspect of your role. You will implement robust safeguards to protect user data security and privacy while keeping up with industry best practices. To be successful in this role, you should have 1-4 years of experience in software product development with exposure to AI/ML, NLP, data science, or deep learning initiatives. Proficiency in Python and comfort with Node.js are essential. Experience in building and supporting multi-tenant SaaS applications at scale is preferred. A strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design, will be beneficial. Moreover, having a postgraduate degree or equivalent experience with a proven track record in research or practical AI/ML projects is a plus. Experience in developing AI/ML models in production environments and integrating them into enterprise applications using cloud-native or hybrid technologies is desirable. Solid knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases will be an added advantage.
