Role Overview: You are a passionate software engineer ready to step into a senior contributor position within a dynamic environment. Your expertise in problem-solving and commitment to technical excellence make you a perfect fit for the role. Join the team responsible for Crypto Secure, a robust risk assessment tool empowering banks with enhanced visibility into crypto spend, transaction volumes, and AML risk exposure through an intuitive dashboard. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining the product's technical direction, ensuring top-notch code quality, and mentoring fellow engineers. Your responsibilities will include hands-on development, leading architecture discussions, resolving technical obstacles, and enforcing best practices within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, React, PostgresDB, Apache NiFi, Hadoop, Snowflake, and other modern technologies. - Translate high-level requirements into precise technical solutions and estimates. - Guide technical decision-making to align with architecture and security best practices. - Assist in technical refinements, provide accurate work estimates, and manage technical dependencies. - Identify and eliminate technical roadblocks to facilitate seamless team execution. - Take charge of non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and scalability. Mentor & Guide the Team: - Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to engineers at all levels. - Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team. Collaborate Across Teams: - Collaborate with Product Managers and System Architects to synchronize technical and business priorities. - Engage closely with Quality Engineers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to define actionable backlog items. - Assist project managers in recognizing and managing technical dependencies. - Lead demos and contribute to stakeholder presentations. - Offer consultations on customer incidents and ensure prompt issue resolution. Champion Engineering Excellence: - Advocate for clean, maintainable, and testable code. - Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance engineering practices continuously. - Promote DevOps and CI/CD best practices for efficient and reliable software delivery. - Drive the adoption of accessibility (A11y), internationalization (i18n), and performance best practices. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in developing enterprise-grade applications. - Strong full-stack proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, React, and relational databases (preferably PostgresDB). - Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Snowflake, and Apache NiFi. - Background in designing and constructing scalable, high-performance systems. - Expertise in API development, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, PCF). - In-depth understanding of security, performance, and non-functional requirements. - Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
