Senior Software Engineer

As a software engineer at FalconX, you will be part of a pioneering team dedicated to revolutionizing institutional access to the crypto markets. You will be working at the crossroads of traditional finance and cutting-edge technology, addressing the challenges faced by the industry. Your role will involve building and maintaining centralized tools across various exchanges to ensure reliable and flexible asset settlements. Additionally, you will design and build Middleware systems to support all company product lines and develop data-driven intelligent systems to streamline trade operational processes. Your responsibilities will include designing and creating customer-facing products and internal tools, writing performant code while adhering to the company's coding style guides, and identifying bottlenecks in the system to improve application response times. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to translate product and technical visions into actionable roadmaps. Taking ownership of the technical aspects of the infrastructure will be crucial, ensuring the platform meets the customers" needs effectively. To qualify for this role, you should hold a BE/Btech degree with equivalent experience, with a preference for a CS background. You should have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering and 3 years of experience writing production code in Python, Java, or Golang. Familiarity with AWS environment and modern web technologies like AWS cloud, MySQL database, Redis caching, and messaging tools such as Kafka/SQS is required. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous architectures is essential, along with a passion for building an open financial system.
