Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Adobe Express Memory Optimization team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and enhancing the memory usage of the Creative Cloud Express platform. Your expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, web technologies, and modern frameworks will be essential in developing diagnostic tools, optimizing memory footprint, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address memory-related issues. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of in-browser memory leak detection tools, investigate memory stability issues, and establish standard methodologies for memory optimization. Your deep understanding of browser memory models, profiling tools, and CI/CD pipelines will be instrumental in maintaining memory health and stability. To excel in this role, you should have at least 6 years of software engineering experience, proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, and hands-on experience with debugging and optimizing browser-based applications. Familiarity with memory-constrained environments like iOS, knowledge of browser memory models, and experience with profiling tools such as Chrome DevTools and Safari Web Inspector will be advantageous. Additionally, your ability to investigate complex issues, develop reproducible test cases, and mentor engineers on memory optimization best practices will be crucial for success in this role. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with mobile web apps, experience with iOS Safari/WebKit behavior and debugging tools, and a strong foundation in automation testing frameworks.
