Senior Software Engineer- Developer Tooling

As a Senior Software Engineer at Autodesk, you will be a part of the Developers Tooling team, contributing to the development and maintenance of internal developer tools. Your expertise in server-side technologies, full-stack development, and AWS technologies will be crucial in delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions that streamline API publishing and automate documentation delivery, ultimately enhancing engineering productivity and consistency across Autodesk. **Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable internal developer tooling, including APIs and CI/CD workflows - Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners to define, implement, and deliver features - Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code focusing on reliability and performance - Contribute to architectural discussions and provide implementation input under senior staff guidance - Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker - Contribute to observability and monitoring for internal services using tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk - Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems - Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features from design to deployment, collaborating closely with tech leads and peers **Minimum Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including building production applications on large-scale AWS cloud infrastructure - Proficiency in TypeScript and Python - Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including RDS and DynamoDB - Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and experience with tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with Maven and Java Programming - Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk At Autodesk, the Culture Code is at the core of everything we do, fostering a culture where our people thrive and realize their potential.
