Senior Software Engineer- Developer Tooling

As a Senior Software Engineer at Autodesk, you will be a part of the Developers Tooling team, contributing to the development and maintenance of internal developer tools that enhance engineering productivity and consistency across the organization. Your expertise in server-side technologies, AWS, TypeScript, Python, and Node.js will be crucial in delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying secure and scalable internal developer tooling such as APIs and CI/CD workflows. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define, implement, and deliver features while ensuring code quality, reliability, and performance. Additionally, you will contribute to architectural discussions, support CI/CD pipelines, and enhance observability and monitoring for internal services. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering on AWS cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL, and NoSQL databases are essential. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker is also required. Preferred qualifications include experience with Maven, Java Programming, and knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
