Senior Software Engineer

Key Applicant Requirements (Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications)

• 6-9 years of strong development background in Apigee Technologies
• As an Apigee developer needs to focus on designs, develops, and manages API proxies within the Apigee platform, ensuring their security, scalability, performance, and integration with other systems.
• Will be responsible for the entire API lifecycle from initial planning, design and implementation of new security systems and architecture monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization. 
• Additionally responsible for API governance policies, best practices, and security standards by collaborating with development team and monitor API health and performance
• Define API standards, guidelines, and best practices for development teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into API solutions.
• Evaluate existing API infrastructure and recommend improvements.
• Good To have Knowledge on Java & Core Java Technologies.
• Strong experience in Apigee, Design Patterns, Algorithms, Session Management, OOPS concepts, data structure, Collections, interface, multi-threading & MVC
• Experience in building APIs and web services (SOAP and Restful) & integrating with external applications
• Good to have experience in JAVA 8(Lamda, Streams, DateTime API etc.)
• Good to have experience in Spring Framework(Spring Boot, Spring Security)

Preferred candidate profile

Key position details (Responsibilities)

• Experience with API Gateways - Datapower, APIM , Apigee etc
• Experience as a Middleware developer using Java/J2EE technologies and Message queues
• Experience in administration and setup of any Message Broker like IIB, RabbitMQ etc
• Experience in cloud platform AWS/Azure/GCP
• Experience in  Google cloud platform - GCP Pub/Sub, Datastore, BigQuery, AppEngine, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Memory Store, Redis etc

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field
• Typically minimum of 6-9 years - Professional Experience In Coding, Designing, Developing And Analyzing Data.  Typically has an advanced knowledge and use of two or more opposing front / back end languages / technologies from the following but not limited to; two or more modern programming languages used in the enterprise, experience working with various APIs, external Services, experience with both relational and NoSQL Databases
