As a Senior Software Developer in Test, you will join a product engineering team dedicated to maintaining and supporting our V365 Excel Add-in. This cross-platform product enables customers to interact with their data directly within Excel and is built using Javascript, specifically leveraging React. In this role, you will: - Write code to deliver innovative product features that resonate with our enthusiastic user base - Conduct code reviews to enhance your team's code quality and productivity continuously - Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow developers - Assist developers in prioritizing work and addressing work-related challenges - Serve as an effective communication channel between your team and the larger organization - Advocate for and implement development initiatives, best practices, and coding standards - Proactively suggest and drive necessary actions instead of waiting to be directed Requirements: - 5+ years of software development experience - Proficiency in modern Javascript and the React framework, including hands-on experience in developing and maintaining complex web applications using React - Familiarity with working on RESTful APIs - Solid grasp of algorithms and computational complexity - Demonstrated ability to take ownership of small projects, ensuring high quality and timely delivery - Knowledge of the JavaScript Excel API is a plus, though not mandatory - Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience - Previous exposure to scrum/lean/agile methodologies - Self-motivated and self-directed approach to work - Enthusiasm for collaborating with friendly and enthusiastic developers on intriguing technology - Enjoyment in coaching and mentoring colleagues to help them enhance their professional skills - Capable of triaging and resolving production bugs efficiently,
